Founder & Executive Director

Back to Light Foundation (BTLF) is a nonprofit organisation focused on drug-use prevention and mental health awareness, especially among young people. The foundation exists to fill the critical gap between silence, misunderstanding, and the rising cases of substance abuse in our communities.

At BTLF, we believe that education comes before intervention. That's why we start with awareness — equipping students, families, and communities with the facts, language, and tools they need to understand drug use and mental health from the ground up. Our programs are designed not just to inform, but to transform mindsets, strengthen families, and build resilience in the communities we serve.

Vision & Mission

🎯 Our Vision

To create a world where every individual has access to the resources and support they need to lead healthy, fulfilling lives — free from the stigma of substance abuse and mental health challenges.

🚀 Our Mission

To empower communities through education, awareness, and rehabilitation programs that address substance abuse and mental health issues, fostering resilience and promoting long-term wellbeing.

What We Do

Our Three Core Pillars

Every program we run is rooted in one or more of these foundational pillars:

Youth education and school outreach

Education

We deliver school programs, trainings, and public resources that teach prevention, emotional literacy, and early intervention strategies to students and families.

Community awareness

Awareness

Through media platforms like podcasts, radio, and community outreach, we amplify honest conversations and work to reduce the stigma around mental health and substance use.

Rehabilitation and recovery support

Rehabilitation

Through our recovery arm, Flourish Life Center, we provide counselling, coaching, group therapy, and aftercare support for individuals on the journey to recovery.

What Guides Us
